In the summer of 2021, I joined Spectrum Health as Lead UX Designer at a pivotal moment: the organization was preparing for a complete digital transformation. Our team was tasked with rebuilding the enterprise web experience from the ground up, leveraging a headless CMS (Contentstack) and establishing the organization’s first design system.
I led the UX effort across marketing, development, and subject matter experts, guiding the creation of a scalable design framework that unified brand identity and improved patient engagement. This initiative culminated in the launch of the new spectrumhealth.org experience, which later evolved to support the transition to Corewell Health, Michigan’s largest healthcare system.
