Redesigning Sectigo's Digital Experience

As a Senior UX Designer at SPARK, I championed both the eCommerce and homepage redesigns for Sectigo. From design to front‑end development, I modernized Sectigo's digital presence and established a design system that empowered teams to scale with confidence.

The Challenge

In 2019, I joined Sectigo through SPARK as Senior UX Designer and Front‑end Developer at a critical inflection point: the company needed to modernize its global digital presence. The eCommerce experience was outdated, the homepage lacked engagement, and there was no design system to unify components across the enterprise. Sectigo, a leading cybersecurity provider, required a scalable framework that could improve conversion, streamline workflows, and elevate brand perception in a competitive market.

This wasn't just a surface‑level redesign — it demanded a rethinking of the customer journey, tighter collaboration with stakeholders, and a foundation that could support both immediate business goals and long‑term growth.

The Approach

I led UX design and front‑end development across eCommerce and marketing initiatives, guiding workshops and design thinking exercises to align stakeholders and uncover shared expectations. Our team adopted an iterative approach: weekly design reviews, continuous feedback loops, and regular code releases ensured transparency and agility throughout the engagement.

Beyond redesigning the homepage and eCommerce flow, I directed the creation of a robust enterprise design system. By standardizing components and patterns, we empowered Sectigo's content authors and administrators to build new pages quickly while maintaining consistency. This system became the backbone of Sectigo's digital experience, bridging design and development with a shared library of reusable assets.

The Results

The redesigned eCommerce experience drove a 23% increase in conversion and back‑to‑back record‑breaking sales months, validating the impact of our user‑centered approach. Engagement metrics improved across the site, and the streamlined purchasing flow reduced friction for customers worldwide.

The enterprise design system provided lasting value, enabling Sectigo's teams to scale digital experiences with confidence and consistency. By combining UX strategy, front‑end development, and collaborative design practices, we delivered a modernized digital foundation that continues to support Sectigo's growth as a global cybersecurity leader.
