A Week That Felt Like a Month

Buckle Up!

This week was one of those stretches where everything seemed to land at once. Not in a chaotic way, but in a “this is what happens when things start moving in the right direction” kind of way.

It started with an in‑person interview that went deep into how I think about product, UX, and leadership. A solid conversation and a good reminder of the kind of work I want to be doing long term.

The next day was a mix of planning for the projects I’m building with my team and a conversation for another potential role. Balancing my own product work with exploring full‑time opportunities has actually felt pretty natural. I’m being intentional about where I put my time, and I’m only moving forward with things that feel like a good match.

Midweek I had an intro call with another team, then spent time tightening up our consultancy site and pushing our open‑source work forward. Those pieces are starting to take shape, and it’s been rewarding to see the momentum build.

Later in the week my team met to prep for a big client meeting coming up. Watching this small thing we started gain traction has been one of the most energizing parts of this whole season.

And today brought a couple of really positive conversations about contract work that could grow into something more. Both felt collaborative and grounded, and both sides seemed genuinely interested in how I approach problems. I’m being thoughtful about what I take on, but it’s encouraging to see good options lining up.

I also have a follow‑up interview next week with another team I’ve been talking to. There’s some friendly competition involved, which honestly just makes me want to bring my best.

So yeah. A week.

Interviews, product work, open‑source progress, consultancy planning, and a handful of conversations that could turn into real opportunities. It’s a lot, but it’s the kind of “a lot” that comes from being in demand and trusted to handle it.

I’m tired, but in a good way. This is what it looks like when things start to align.
