When collaboration becomes your compass
When I think about what’s kept me moving forward these past few months, the answer is simple: collaboration.
I’m excited about Ailloy, the open-source CLI tool Kris has been building. And it’s not just Ailloy, we’ve got several other products in flight that reflect the same spirit of building together. What makes this work powerful is the way our different strengths complement each other. Kris and Georges bring a mix of engineering, product architecture, and technical leadership. I bring design strategy, systems thinking, and brand clarity. Together, the blending of our skills and experience has felt like a yin‑yang balance that turns ideas into momentum.
None of us would wish layoffs on anyone, but I’m thankful I wasn’t alone in mine. The three of us leaned into one another, building each other up in this venture while also supporting each other’s individual job searches. When doubt creeps in, they’ve been there to talk me back up, and I hope I’ve done the same for them.
It’s an exciting and scary time: no insurance, no income, the clock ticking. But collaboration has kept us resilient, creative, and moving forward. That’s what makes me valuable — not just my individual skills, but the way I help teams find clarity, momentum, and impact together.
I’m at a pivotal point and ready to accept the right offer soon. Collaboration and design strategy are where I thrive. Let’s talk before the next chapter begins.
