Getting laid off is never easy
For us, it became a turning point. Instead of waiting for the next role to appear, we decided to build something new: nimble giant, a consultancy focused on clarity, design, and strategy.
The challenge is that we are building nimble giant while also interviewing for full-time opportunities. It is a balancing act. We want to keep momentum, while finding roles that support and complement what we are creating.
Recent conversations have reminded me how much clarity matters. Whether we are sharing the vision of nimble giant or sitting in an interview, the ability to articulate fit, impact, and direction is what moves things forward.
This season is about dual paths. We are building something of our own while searching for the right teams to join. It is not either or, it is both.
What keeps us moving is the belief that nimble giant is worth building, even in transition.
